Our Parenting Programmes<\/h3>\n

At Anew, we have a range of programmes to support you as a parent. We understand that parenting can be difficult so we are here to support you and your children in any way that we can.<\/p>\n

Our parenting programmes include:<\/p>\n

  • Intensive one-to-one therapeutic parenting support<\/li>\n
  • Parenting workshops using evidence-based research<\/li>\n
  • Bespoke parenting support for families with specific needs, such as members of the travelling community<\/li>\n
  • Skills based training programmes and outreach parenting support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    In line with Tusla\u2019s Supporting Parents: A National Model of Parenting Support<\/em>, staff work closely with parents to build on existing strengths and support positive parenting. \u201cOur approach is an evidence-informed style of work that recognises the importance of relationships in delivering support services to families. In line with\u00a0Tusla\u2019s \u201cNational Guidance and Local Implementation, Investing in Families; Supporting Parents to improve Outcomes for Children<\/em> (2013)\u201d7<\/sup><\/span>.<\/p>\n

    • Raising awareness of the importance of the parent\/child relationship and the parent as the expert in their child\u2019s care.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Developing a respectful, non-judgemental working relationship between women and staff.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Working with women on their perceived needs.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Collaborating with women throughout the support process by using the Outcome Star Assessment tool.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
