Anew provides support services for pregnant women and new mothers in the areas of parenting, emotional wellbeing, homelessness and housing.

Our aim is to improve health and wellbeing for all women and their families, reduce homelessness among pregnant women and enhance post-natal outcomes.

We have been providing support for pregnant women and new mothers since 1981.

The animation below gives a quick illustration of the evolution of our services.

Our award-winning services in Swords comprise supported accommodation for pregnant women and new mothers. This service provides intensive support for women during their pregnancies and new motherhood. Our experienced Social Care Workers, Housing Workers and Support Workers provide life skills training and therapeutic parenting support as well as practical support in finding their ‘forever home’.
Our Day Services are provided in Haven House in Dublin City Centre, where pregnant women and new mothers can attend peer-t0-peer  group sessions, therapeutic parenting support and other services.
We also provide outreach parenting support into Direct Provision Centres, Family Hubs and other temporary accommodation throughout Ireland.
Common themes throughout our services include Homelessness, Domestic Violence, Addiction and Mental Health issues. Our clients come from all walks of life, including migrants, care leavers and other minority groups.
We are committed to measuring the impacts of our services for our clients; we do this using the evidence-based Outcome Star measurement tool.
